I think that I've mentioned this before, so if so, you get to hear it again. One of the things that I really love about the Puget Sound is that the grass actually gets greener in the fall and winter. I took an entire afternoon this week to mow my lawn, overseed, then sprayed liiquid fertilizer over every blade. After two days it looks like I airbrushed the whole thing - considering that it's October, this amazes me. I wonder how much longer I have to live here before I get used to that.
I have a really strange deal that I've been trying to hold together the past couple of days. I've been showing this client property for three months, and none of these properties are close together. Literally, she's looking about as far as an hour-and-a-half in every direction from my office. Well, we finally found her something, wrote up the contract, got it signed by the other party, and started moving toward closing. We thought. Turns out that the person that signed for the sale of the home has no legal claim to the property, so we don't have a binding contract. For instance, my neighbor's can sell their house, but if I sign the agreement, the contract isn't worth the paper it's written on. It's all really odd. Another story for a future book.
Going to try to take the day off today. Plan on watching "Unleashed" with Jet Li and maybe taking Kami out to dinner later today. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

This story was the strangest yet!! I hope it turns out in your favor. Although it was fun over a glass of wine. The rest of the bottle went down real easy!! Thanks for the company and story.
Hope everything worked out on the strange deal. Did you get to take off Friday afternoon?
I didn’t take Friday off – but was able to take half a day on Saturday and all of Sunday off – and things seem to be working out on that deal – we’ll see how things progress.
