It was a good weekend.
SATURDAY - Went to the UW vs. USC football game at Husky Stadium with my friends Alex, Marty, and Luckey. None of us were actually rooting for the Huskies, nor were we expecting it to be a good game. We were merely hoping that it wouldn't be so much of a blow-out that USC's second string would touch the field before half-time. Thankfully Matt Lienert and Reggie Bush were on the field long enough for a few very memorable plays. If you haven't seen the highlights, you can read the article and see them HERE.
SUNDAY - Went to the David Gray concert with Kami, thanks to the generosity of my friend Teri (thanks Teri!). After the concert Kami said that it was probably the best concert she'd ever been to, and that was saying something since she didn't know the words to any of the songs. It wasn't a huge production with pyrotechnics or moving stages or anything, which just gave his music more credence. Hearing his songs live gave me a new appreciation for his writing, perhaps his movements and presentation helped translate the intent of his words.

Note to self. They don’t sell beer at college games.
Thank you Alex for the tickets.
Glad you guys could come. It was great hanging out, we couldn’t have had better weather that is for sure.
Your Welcome! See I do check your stuff out every now and then. Teri
