It couldn't be avoided - as an inhabitant of the greater Seattle area, I have to write about the one thing that everyone will be reminded of on every day for the next two weeks: the Seahawks are going to the Super Bowl! A friend of mine has made reference to the New York Jets as "my team," which is true to some degree. Still, you can't blame me if my loyalty has strayed after watching the hometown team over the last five years. My condolences of course, to Luckey, who had to watch the donkeys fall apart in Denver (hopefully you can watch the Seahawks on February 5th with some amount of fervor). And in reference to a post from a few days ago - I stumbled across another semi-obscure reference to the legend that is Chuck Norris. This video is a parody/tribute to the legend in his youth: VIDEO. Things have been busy for me - I hope to post more frequently this week. God bless.
I’m looking forward to a spectacular Superbowl this year. I fully expected a Seattle/New England game but was pleasantly surprised by Pittsburgh’s stunning victories in the post-season. My condolences go out as well to Mr. Luckey for what became a corporate implosion led by the magnificent choking ability of Jake the “Mistake” Plummer. Better luck next year.
