I have too many thoughts on the whole subject, and not enough time to share them. My favorite response to this whole thing so far comes from Dick Cheney. While delivering a speech in Montana, he shared “Of course, now Senator Kerry says he was just making a joke, and he botched it up. I guess we didn’t get the nuance. He was for the joke before he was against it.”

And here we are back on Election Day. To everyone out there: please go exercise your right to vote. This is a priviledge that none of us, regardless of party affiliation, should take for granted. Your vote really does count (even if you’re dead and happen to be buried in King County). All kidding aside, please make time to vote. And if you choose not to vote… don’t complain about the direction this country takes as you have given that right up.
And most (dem) folks seem to think that the VP doesn’t have a sense of humor. Just one more point that they’re wrong on.
joke or not, the thing that i found personally offensive was Kerry’s elitist attitude
it is reassuring, however, to see the ruling party leveraging this for all it’s worth — just like Kerry –they’re behaving exactly as expected
politics as usual (yawn)
