As if the most rain in any month of November wasn’t enough, as if receiving the most amount of moisture in one month EVER wasn’t enough, we now have snow and freezing rain to add to the apocolyptic weather we’ve been having. One of our friends left his work at 5pm to begin his 20 mile trek home. At 8:30pm he was still a good five miles from his exit, thanks to the weather and the incompetency of Washington winter drivers.
Still, as evidenced by this picture, some good comes of the weather. Selah experienced her first snow day in the arms of her snow-loving mother. Kami loves building snowmen - now she has a builder-in-training to share her joy.
Look at those cheeks! That’s a healthy baby!
UPDATE: This morning I got an email from the broker of my office. His words: Due to the inclement weather, I suggest that you do not try to come into the office today. It definitely is not worth the effort. I spent 7 hours on I 405 last night trying to go 5 miles. Not a fun experience.

She keeps getting cuter and cuter! I love the picture.
Bad traffic in bad weather has to be one of the inner circles of Hell. I’d rather toss hay bales in -60 wind chills.
Referring to your dad’s post from Monday’s blog:
I will contest that furiously! Hell is here in Florida. 99 degrees with 98 percent humidity is precisely like living in a baggie. I can’t breathe, I can’t think, and the alligator that lives in the drainage ditch near our house is going to nab me one of these days. I’m just too slow and groggy to run.
We don’t see other human beings outside from the month of May to
September(too hot and humid). My head is constantly sunburned where I part my hair. Cousins of Jeff Foxworthy are everywhere. I’ve heard the “N” word so many times I’m becoming desensitized. And if one more wild boar charges me while I’m walking the dogs, I’ll just shoot him and fry him up for dinner. To heck with the laws about hunting inside city limits.
Heather, no need to contest it. (Dante’s) Hell had seven circles. Of course, we speak figuratively. Hell itself is far worse than any earthly weather conditions. It is interesting though, in spite of the brimstone and sulphur illusions to Ghenna in the Bible, that Dante and other sources describe Hell not as a place of eternal fire but of eternal freezing. Anyway, did not mean to lead this into the torturous eternal—–would much rather gaze at the beautiful snow baby!
I love snow and I love selah…can’t wait to see all of you !!

Carol - It’s in the mail! You’ll have to wait and see! =)
