Life has been overwhelming - good, but overwhelming. Selah has been moving more and sleeping less, which results in parents that move more and sleep less Despite our sleep deprivation, Kami and I will be going with friends to see The John Butler Trio tonight in Seattle. For those with the second Blog Sessions disc, John Butler is featured on there, and since I first heard their unique sound, they’ve become my favorite band.

I know that SPINNING updates have been few and far between, but I’m gearing up for a new Blog Sessions release, so I hope to pick up the pace a little over the next few months. Of course, I can’t release the cd until my new iMac arrives, and since they haven’t even released the new iMac, it could be a little while. That aside, I didn’t want my review of the cd to be influenced by their live performance (which I expect to be amazing), so I have a cursory review of their latest cd on SPINNING. Sorry for the lack of depth on it, but the music is SO good I don’t want to restrain it with my opinion. UPDATED SPINNING
