Moo

A few weeks ago I was perusing TechCrunch.com where I found a link that captured my attention. I’m not exactly sure why, other than my business partner and I are always looking for new marketing ideas, and this site called Moo.com seemed to offer a couple of unique products that I thought we could use. I ordered a couple of their products, and this is my “unboxing.”
Moo.com is unique in that allows you to upload multiple files and print individual cards of each photo. If you’ve ever wanted to order business cards or anything else from a printer, you usually have to order at least in multiples of 50, sometimes even 100. Their primary product is called a “MiniCard” which is half as tall as a business card. There are multiple sites with ideas on how to display or use these mini-cards, making them more than a novelty item.
I uploaded about 25 images on the Moo.com site, which gave me four sets of each. Moo.com is headquartered in England, so I didn’t expect to get them quickly, but they actually came sooner than I expected. Everything about the product has been carefully packaged: they send their own mini-card (pictured above) celebrating your acceptance as a Moo.com customer, and the cards themselves come in a hard plastic case to keep the shape of the cards during shipping.

The cards themselves are impressive in quality, and for anyone with at least a hundred photos, are a pretty unique way to display photos. I converted some cards (shown above) into magnets, which seems to be the most practical use. I made about eight magnets, which leaves me with 92 other MiniCards, which I don’t exactly know what to do with. Still, the product is unique, and I thought it was worth sharing.

Hey Jess,
I thought these were a great gift
for your Dad. He liked them too.
