More changes

If you look at the top of the page, you’ll see that there are two new tabs that didn’t exist before today. One is the new home of Spinning - no different from the old version except that putting it in a blog format allows readers the opportunity to comment on the music. This might be more for me than it is for you - only because I would normally have to wait until the release of a Blog Sessions cd to get any feedback on the music I’m passionate about.
The other tab is for our new Selah page, and I don’t think that I have to explain this one
Kami wanted a place where she could post photos or videos of Selah more frequently, and again, everyone will be allow to comment on our lovely little girl.
Thanks again to Mike - as putting this together was way outside my comfort zone.

POLITICAL COMMENTARY WARNING: VIEW AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
Your “Much like Ron Paul” just under the new tabs is pretty good. Ron Paul gave some attention to Bozeman just prior to the Super Tuesday Republican Caucus in Montana. The rally was pretty interesting with a very “indie” feeling as it attracted people from both sides of the political fence. I like Ron Paul on most social and domestic issues. However, his foreign policy is grossly lacking. His views on Iraq and our involvement there are very short-sighted. Ignoring the wider world with a “live and let live; leave them to their own devices; ignore them and they won’t be problem” philosophy only gets us into bigger future conflicts (World War I and World War II anyone?). Bottom line is that Ron Paul has a snowball’s chance in H-E-double hockey sticks in getting elected to anything higher than (maybe) a US representative or senate seat. This will definitely be an interesting election year.
I don’t know that much about Ron Paul, other than he’s the least likely candidate as President, and that he once said that he wouldn’t be running at all if the people didn’t demand it. His comment struck me as a little odd, so I had to incorporate it into the blog somehow. I agree with your points though - I think his views on domestic issues are spot on, although he doesn’t have a prayer on foreign policy.
And by “indie” feeling, do you mean “hippie” or “granola” like a Nader disciple, or is it more diverse than that? Gun-toters and tree-huggers in the same crowd?
“Indie” as in the New Hampshire primaray feeling of having a bunch of declared and undeclared blocks of voters looking for the best possible candidate. Let’s face it - Montana is still such a political backwater that any time a candidate (or candidate’s representative - Ron Paul’s son in this case) comes to town, everyone shows up regardless of their party affiliation. So you had ultra-conservative dutch farmers from Manhattan/Amsterdam/Churchill standing next to dread-head greenie “make love not war” college students and “freshie” powder hounds. It was quite the mix. The first question out of the chute was from the latter asking how Ron Paul’s son could invoke the name of Jesus Christ during the opening benediction prayer when not everyone in the crowd even believes in Him. Like I said, welcome to politics in Montana.
