Welcome to the new blog!
Feb 11th, 2008 by Jesse Moore
It took some time and a lot of help from my cuz Mike Conover, but my blog has graduated into its adolescence. I’m thankful to Blogger for giving me my training wheels, but they started messing with my archives (four years and over 450 posts of archives no less), so I had to give them the old “It’s not me, it’s you” speech and move on to WordPress.org. I realize that many of you won’t know the difference between the two services at the mere mention of their name, but I think that just the mere aesthetic of the new blog will convince you of the differences. This isn’t all that I have in store. More changes to come, which will make the blog more than a static site of my ramblings. Until then, please update your favorites and refresh your cache, because while Mooreover.com/blogger.php will continue to exist, it will no longer be updated.

awww . . . you didn’t need much help, Jesse! It was pretty much there. I just helped “tweak” it where needed.
p.s. I believe “cuz-in-law” is the more correct term!
Mike, the tweaking continues - and I think that now that you have a username and password to pretty much every aspect of my electronic life, we can drop the whole “in-law” reference and go straight to “cuz”.
Wow Jesse. I really like the updated blog and I think it’s much more user friendly. I like the “Categories” section with the links on the right-hand bar - great for sorting through all the rambilings! Kudos~
Yeah - well, as for sorting all the old posts into the proper category, that might take some time, and thus, the whole point of the new field might take awhile to be fully realized.
When I first started talking about converting because of the way Blogger screwed up my archives, Kami wondered if it even mattered - if that many people actually read the archives. Her brother than told her that whenever he logged in he would go back a year and read the post closest to that date. Kind of like “Stardust” for anyone that reads the Miles City Star.
