Happy June-uary
Jun 10th, 2008 by Jesse Moore
It’s June 10th, and it’s 48 degrees outside, made even colder by the constant deluge of rain. I think we’ve seen one day of sun in June so far, and even that day didn’t warrant a t-shirt and shorts ensemble. My house is so dark at 1 in the afternoon that I would need a light in any of the rooms to read.
I’m not one of the masses that usually complains about the rain in the Puget Sound, but this truly is having its affect on me. It’s JUNE! I’m supposed to be lathering my daughter in sunblock and letting her run in the grass. Perhaps the worst part for me is the spread of melancholy – which I’ve become accustomed to staving off during the winter months, but much like the rain, I can feel its grip wrapping around my bones.
Here’s the good news: I’m trapped inside – I may as well try to edit a video for my next post.

I feel your pain, brother. Bozeman might as well be Seattle… lots of rain, not a lot of sun, and – oh yeah- I woke up to falling snow.
Thanks for reminding me what I don’t miss about Bozeman. I’ll take rain over snow for now – although give me a few days and I might change my mind.
